good grief...what was life like before youtube?

The most unexpected cover I ever heard / saw them play was when they played Leeds over here in 1996.

After Mike returned to the stage after getting into a fight with someone in the crowd, who kept spitting at the band, they broke into Jet Boy Jet Girl by The Damned (which in turn is a version of Plastic Bertrand's "Ca Plane Pour Moi").

Not a song I would have ever expected to hear from Ness, but maybe they had it up their sleeve because it was a Damned song and they were in England and were looking for an excuse to use it. They didn't play it the next night in London and it was the only time I know of them playing that song.

I'm trying to compile a list of songs covered by Social D as well as bands who have covered them. I don't have any of the second kind now.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Nope, I doubt the show got recorded as there were only about 100 people there, and it has never surfaced since. There were some guys with a camera wanting to film the show but they asked for permission and Social D. refused.

Shame, as that was the best show I've seen them play.

I can't believe no one has mention "Mommy's Little Cholo by Manic Hispanic! Ok, so its not exactly 100% cover, but if you have never heard it it is well worth it
